What version is that addon?

When there is no "about", related to a plugin, where do you find the version information?

Often the version of a component, module or plugin appears in the backend when you are working with that particular add-on, many times in an "about" section, but sometimes the version information is not readily apparent.

• To find the version of an add-on (i.e. component, module, or plugin), go to the backend (administrator) of Joomla!
• Then find your way along the tabs at the top to Extensions.
• If you click on uninstall/install, then select the relevant addon (component, module or plugin), you will be presented with a list of installed addons and details including version number and author.
